How we handle your personal information under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

WaterWorx Health ("we", "us", "our") supplies water dispensers, coolers and purified drinking water to homes and offices in South Africa. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

1. Information we collect

When you request a quote, place an order or contact us (through our form, on WhatsApp, by phone or by email), we collect the details you give us — typically:

  • Your name;
  • Your phone number and email address;
  • Whether you're a home or office customer;
  • Your delivery address and any details you include in your message.

Our quote form does not store anything on this website. When you submit it, the answers are simply written into a WhatsApp message addressed to us, which you then choose to send — so nothing leaves your phone until you press send.

2. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your quote request and enquiries.
  • To process and deliver your orders, and to service your dispenser or cooler.
  • To arrange payment (cash or EFT) and keep records of your orders.
  • Where you have agreed, to let you know about offers and refill reminders.

3. Consent

We only contact you for marketing purposes (such as offers or reminders) where you have given consent, for example by ticking the consent box on our form. You may withdraw your consent at any time — see "Your rights" below.

4. How we store and protect it

This website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection and holds no customer database. Your details reach us through, and are kept in, our ordinary contact and order tools — WhatsApp, our phone and our email. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us deliver orders and run the business (for example delivery, messaging and payment tools), who are required to protect it.

6. Retention

We keep your information for as long as you remain a customer or as needed to serve you, and as required by law (for example tax and accounting records). When it is no longer needed, we delete it.

7. Your rights

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update it.
  • Ask us to delete it, or to stop contacting you (opt out), at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) — inforegulator.org.za.
